UNEF Peacekeepers in the Middle East
... new sets in both 1/72 and 1l35 scales, from Star Decals

UNEF - Peacekeepers in the Middle East (Suez, Sinai & Gaza)
A new set from Star Decals, well, actually 2 sets, as the same one is available in both 1/72 and 1/35 scales. Featuring vehicles from the United Nations Emergency Force in the late 1950s. Whichever your preferred scale, UN subjects offer an interesting theme for a collection of models, in this case featuring largely WW2 era machines. Conventional waterslide decals, very neatly printed.
72-A 1062 and 35-C 1292
There are decals for 5 individual models in each of these sets. All the same, but simply in each scale.
A - M3A1 Scout Car - A Yugoslavian UNEF vehicle in late 1957. This one is still in an Olive Drab overall colour scheme, but with the distinctive Blue & White UN markings.
B - M3A1 Scout Car - A Yugoslavian UNEF vehicle in late 1958-9. This time painted in the overall white scheme so well known for UN equipment over the years.
C - M8 Greyhound - A Yugoslavian UNEF vehicle in the period 1957-8. This one is still in an Olive Drab overall colour scheme, but with the distinctive Blue & White UN markings
D - M8 Greyhound - A Yugoslavian UNEF vehicle in late 1958. This time painted in the overall white scheme.
E - M37 Dodge Truck - A Swedish UNEF truck in the overall white colour.
Thanks to Star Decals for these examples.
Robin
