Churchill Crocodile in 1/48

...The Tamiya kit built

Churchill Crocodile in 1/48

A recent build, and one that I expected to be a straightforward build from Tamiya, and I wasn't surprised.
The kit is essentially a scaled down version of their older 1/35 kit, but this newer 1/48 version is very neat. No problems with the build, and easy to make the linkage with the trailer work freely, so it would be easy to set it at an angle for placing in a diorama. You can build it as a basic gun tank or as the flamethrower armed Crocodile.
Markings are of course for 79th Armoured Division, 'The Funnies'.
Late Churchill VII were built with the flamethrower fittings, but didn't necessarily serve as such. Plenty of preserved Churchills about though as far as I know, only the one example of the flame fuel trailer, and that is on display at the Tank Museum, Bovington.
I bought mine through Tiger Hobbies.
