...from PeKo Publishing

Title: WW2 Vehicles Through the Lens 4
Author: Jon Feenstra
Publisher: Peko
ISBN: 978-615-6602-28-2

The latest in the series of TTL books from Hungarian based publisher PeKo, and another by author Jon Feenstra. A 123-page landscape format hard-cover book.
There are 6 sections in this one, covering the Pz II, Pz III Ausf J, Hornisse/Nashorn, 15cm Panzerwerfer 42, Sdkfz 251, and rounded off with the 38M Toldi I/II. As usual with this series, each photo is reproduce filling a whole page, plus their detailed captions. That means the detail to be found in each image is very clear. While there are a few pictures which we have seen before, the vast majority are new to publication. I liked every section of the book, but I especially like this one for the detail to be seen in the section for the Pz II, in a number of variants including the Pz IID Flamethrower, plus a couple of lovely shots of the rare bridging versions. In the section on the Panzerwerfer 42 are some excellent details and in the section for the Sdkfz 251, some beautiful detail on the Holzgaz powered conversion, lovely detail for modellers. In the last one, the Hungarian 38M Toldi some great references for a tank we don't often see featured like this. The captions highlight some of the finer detail to be seen, even in photos you may seen before.
I am a fan of this series, and each one added to the list seems to just get better. The AFV historian should like it and speaking as a long term modeller, there is some very interesting material in this one.
Thanks to PeKo Publishing for the review copy.
