Second in this series of scale plans, this time featuring the Challenger I.
This thin, soft-cover booklet holds 3 fold-out sheets, and these contain 1/35, 1/48 and 1/72 scale plans/line drawings for the British Army Challenger 1 MBT, in both the standard form seen at home and in Germany, as well as the up-armoured configuration, including additional stowage bins, as used in the desert during the Gulf War. There are side views, plus overhead, front and rear so full coverage of this Cold War era British Army MBT, and one which actually played a part in the shooting war that took place in the Gulf. Good neat plans which modellers will appreciate.
A simple book, but one which is valuable to modellers, and which is great company to another, much larger book on the Challenger 1 which has been written by Richard Kent for MMP books, and which I will be reviewing separately.
