Mikoyan Gurevich MiG021R, Color and Scale 07, on the subject of this famous Cold War fighter in Polish service is a recent addition to this series from MMP Books. A 16 page soft cover book.
The first 4 pages are taken up with some fine 1/72 scale drawings of the MiG, including the weapons pylons and a selection of weapons and pods. These are followed by 11-pages of some excellent colour profiles, with 2 aircraft per page, and each with a useful caption giving details of the aircraft and the units they flew with. The final page in the book carries a Polish language translation for each of the English captions for the profiles. All of the aircraft featured are in a lacquered aluminium colour overall.
Very much aimed at modellers, this series is growing steadily, and this is a handy reference for the MiG-21R in Polish service. For anyone wanting to build a selection of aircraft types in Polish service, then I am confident you will enjoy this one.
